About the Position

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2-3 years preferred License: ARRT(R), ARRT(MR) Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Confident in general MRI clinical skills. Strong people skills, particularly working with geriatric and behavioral health patients. Description: We are seeking an MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience. The facility is equipped with one MRI imaging room. On average, 7-11 patients are seen in the department per day. The majority of patients will be outpatients, with only a few inpatients observed daily. The demographic primarily includes adults and geriatric patients, with occasional pediatric cases. Experience with PACS is preferred, but no specific system experience is necessary. The technologist will work with a GE MRI machine. Tech assistants are available when staffing allows, and there is support from a lead tech and manager on the unit. No on-call or weekend shifts are required, providing a consistent schedule. Holidays may require working one holiday during the contract period. Professional attire is required, including black scrubs and closed-toed nursing or tennis shoes. In the first two weeks, travelers will not work unattended to ensure they are comfortable in their role.
