Compensation & Benefits Depending on experience, the starting base salary is $112,000 to $132,000 . Attorneys in this position have multiple opportunities to significantly increase their annual compensation through productivity, performance, and business development. Total annual compensation commonly ranges from $132,000 to $175,000+, depending on individual contributions and results. In addition to the starting base salary, our compensation package includes: (1) guaranteed and discretionary bonuses, (2) performance-based incentive compensation, (3) origination compensation, and (4) a monthly remote work stipend, which is subsumed in the base salary. Our comprehensive benefits package includes: (1) medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, (2) matching 401(k), (3) unlimited paid time off, (4) mental health days, (5) CLE reimbursement, and (6) state bar dues reimbursement Reasonable Billable Expectations We believe exceptional attorneys contribute to the firm's success in many ways. Our annual billable expectation is currently 1800 hours, allowing attorneys to maintain a productive practice while continuing to invest in client relationships, professional development, business development, and other meaningful contributions to the firm. You'll represent professionals whose licenses, careers, and reputations depend on the quality of your advocacy. As part of our boutique litigation practice, you'll receive meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, substantial evidentiary hearing and courtroom experience, and opportunities to build long-term client relationships. What You'll Do You’ll manage high-stakes litigation matters from initial investigation through resolution while working directly with clients and collaborating with experienced senior attorneys.
- 1) representing licensed professionals before Texas licensing boards and regulatory agencies;
- 2) handling investigations, disciplinary proceedings, contested cases before the State Office of Administrative Hearings (SOAH), and related civil litigation;
- 3) drafting responses, pleadings, motions, discovery, legal briefs, and legal correspondence;
- 4) participating in hearings, mediations, informal settlement conferences, negotiations, and litigation strategy sessions;
- 5) advising clients throughout the litigation process;
- 6) developing litigation strategy alongside experienced attorneys.
- 1) currently licensed Texas attorney in good standing;
- 2) possess three or more years of litigation experience with demonstrated ability to independently manage a litigation caseload and provide exceptional client service;
- 3) possess excellent legal writing, research, analytical, and advocacy skills;
- 4) possess strong client communication and case management abilities;
- 5) demonstrate professionalism, initiative, sound judgment, and a commitment to outstanding client service.
