Internship – Bronx Internship Summary: An intern will work under guidance of a director in a designated department after completion of all mandatory clearance procedures. Duties & Responsibilities Contact the office of the EVP for Programs and Public Relations to determine the most suitable area/department for the internship. Receive assignment from the department director who will guide the internship. Undergo mandatory clearances and paperwork (Staff Exclusion List, Employee Data Sheet, emergency contact, National Sex Offender Inquiry Authorization, NYS OCFS Statewide Central Register Database Check, Medicaid Fraud Check, drug test, fingerprinting). Human Resources will handle the scheduling and processing. Provide employment and personal references; at least two employers and one personal reference (or three personal and one employer) will be obtained, with at least one personal reference known for five years. Coordinate start date and receive training from the supervisor. Upon completion of the internship, the director will inform Human Resources, and exit procedures will be followed.
