Occupational Therapist - Rehab Unit

Location

Hudson, FL

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our Rehab Unit. The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities

Conduct OT evaluations for ICU and ER patients.
Develop and implement customized treatment plans.
Utilize diverse therapeutic equipment including splints and lift equipment.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams for expedited discharge planning/placement.
Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active Florida Occupational Therapist license.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Acute Care/Hospital/ICU settings.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preference for candidates with Meditech experience.
