Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed external beam radiation therapy using a Varian TrueBeam system, in coordination with IX and Aria software, following the established treatment plan
- Prepare and position patients, ensure accurate alignment, immobilization, and verification of treatment sites to maintain treatment precision
- Perform treatment simulations and collaborate with dosimetry and physics teams to ensure accurate delivery
- Verify patient identity and treatment data, adhere to radiation safety protocols, monitor for adverse effects, and document procedures accurately
- Maintain equipment quality assurance and participate in routine QA and safety checks; comply with state and federal regulations
- Communicate with oncologists and the care team to report progress and adjust care as needed

Requirements
- New York license in hand
- ARRT registration
- Minimum one year of radiation therapy experience
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Ability to work in an inpatient clinical setting
