Senior Windows Systems Administrator

Qualifications Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD Active SECRET security clearance DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II or III certification, such as: Security+ CE

CASP+

CISSP

CCNP Security Hands‑on experience with patch management Experience with DoD STIGs Familiarity with PKI Experience supporting multi‑domain or cross‑forest environments Strong PowerShell scripting skills Responsibilities Maintain smooth operation of multi‑user computer systems and coordinate with network engineers Monitor and manage system resources such as CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to ensure operating efficiency Perform system security administration, including creating and managing user profiles and accounts Set up administrator accounts and maintain system documentation Tune system performance and install system‑wide software Allocate and manage mass storage resources Interact with users to address needs and evaluate vendor products Recommend hardware and software purchases, coordinate installations, and provide backup and recovery support Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocating and using computing resources Ability to lead junior administrators and mentor technical staff Strong communication skills for interacting with government customers and vendors #J-18808-Ljbffr Peraton
