Immunology Medical Science Liaison (KS, OK, MO)

AstraZeneca seeks an Immunology Medical Science Liaison to provide scientific and clinical support for lupus products and developmental compounds across Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. The role involves engaging healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders, identifying research opportunities, and delivering clinical information to support appropriate product use.

Responsibilities

• Engage key opinion leaders, decision makers, and healthcare professionals in scientific exchange aligned with medical affairs objectives
• Identify and develop peer-level relationships with key customers, researchers, and potential study investigators
• Uncover disease management barriers and provide actionable information to enhance appropriate product use
• Respond to clinical and scientific inquiries with balanced, focused information supporting product appropriateness
• Deliver clinical data presentations regionally and nationally; mentor and train within therapeutic area

Requirements

• Advanced clinical or science degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, NP, or PA-C)
• 0-2 years experience in clinical or commercial setting; MSL experience preferred
• Understanding of healthcare system landscape and market dynamics
• Pharmaceutical industry experience
• Expertise discussing scientific content to diverse audiences
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to travel 50-70% depending on geography
