Base Pay $16.00 / Hour Employee Type Non-Exempt FT Required Degree NONE Manage Others No Contact information Description Maintains office buildings in a clean and orderly condition, including both inside and outside areas. Empties trash and garbage containers in offices and common areas daily. Cleans and/or sweeps debris from the entrance area of building. Vacuums rugs in offices and hallways. Spot cleans when necessary. Sweeps and mops floors. Scrubs and cleans all fixtures in lavatories daily; replaces paper products and soaps as needed. Cleans walls and woodwork as needed. Empties and cleans water catchers on water coolers. Notifies supervisor for restocking cleaning agents and required paper products. May complete some routine exterior maintenance such as sweeping sidewalk, shoveling snow, and mowing grass. Communicates in a clear and concise manner. Proactively helps others, within and across departments. Demonstrates respect and professionalism when interacting with others. Problem solves when concerns arise. Is flexible and adapts to change. Prioritizes and completes the most important tasks first. Anticipates possible problems and takes action to prevent them. Completes responsibilities in a timely and high quality manner. Is honest and proactive when mistakes happen. Does what they say that they will do.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Will work inside and outside; will be exposed to outdoor elements as required to perform responsibilities. Requirements 1.Education and Experience HS diploma/GED OR pass internal written assessment. 6 months of previous janitorial/cleaning experience. 2.Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Knowledge of basic janitorial/maintenance skills. Positive work attitude. Basic English skills required - Ability to communicate with others and read basic instructions 3.Physical and Mental Requirements Physical requirements include walking, sitting, standing, bending, driving, ability to climb stairs, carrying, stooping, and lifting up to fifty (50) pounds. Mental requirements include ability to exercise independent judgment and manage multiple tasks. Staying awake and alert while on duty.
