Job Title

Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Neuro / Ortho / Pediatrics)

Marquette, MI | Inpatient – Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics inpatient unit serving all ages over 28 days
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6, delivering safe and effective nursing care across trauma, post-operative ortho/neuro, and general pediatric populations
• Utilize electronic health record systems (Paragon / Cerner) to document and coordinate patient care
• Float to other inpatient units as needed to support staffing and patient care continuity
• Fulfill weekend rotation expectations of 3 weekends every 6 weeks
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams in a Level II Trauma facility environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license required prior to start
• Minimum 2+ years of adult Med/Surg nursing experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• BLS certification required
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2+ years of pediatric nursing experience
• PALS certification preferred
• Prior experience with Neuro and/or Orthopedic patient populations
• Strong teamwork and collaborative communication skills in a fast-paced inpatient environment
