About the Role The Roads Home Health Care is looking for a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled physical therapy services to patients of all ages in their homes across South Florida, working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on clinician who wants to build real relationships with patients and see the direct impact of home health care. Both full-time and per diem opportunities are available. Perform physical therapy treatment services as planned, delegated, and supervised by the Physical Therapist Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and treatment techniques to support recovery and mobility Use strong interpersonal and communication skills to teach patients and family caregivers Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation for each patient visit Apply infection control practices and standard precautions during all patient care activities Accept clinical assignments consistent with your training, education, and competency level Participate in required continuing education and in-service training programs Communicate patient progress and changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist Support patients through therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities during each home visit Job Requirements Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Current, valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant One year of experience as a PTA preferred Current CPR certification and Hepatitis profile Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto liability insurance Qualifications Good interpersonal skills and a warm, professional bedside manner Ability to work flexible schedules and travel locally between patient homes Comfortable managing physical demands including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing or walking Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for hands-on treatment Ability to stay organized and meet patient care deadlines independently Genuine commitment to supporting patients' physical therapy goals with patience and encouragement Prior home health experience a plus Bilingual candidates a plus We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr
