Job Summary South Shore Millwork is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Architectural Millwork Molder Operator to operate and maintain a Weinig 6-Head Molder in our custom millwork facility in Norton, MA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural woodwork, precision machining, and quality craftsmanship to produce high-end moldings, profiles, and custom millwork components. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and adjust a Weinig 6-head molder for production runs Read and interpret shop drawings, profiles, and work orders Select, install, and align cutter heads and tooling to meet specifications Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout production Perform routine maintenance, blade changes, and troubleshooting Inspect finished products for accuracy, finish, and consistency Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and deadlines Qualifications 2+ years of experience operating a Weinig or similar industrial molder (preferred) Strong understanding of architectural millwork and custom profiles Ability to read blueprints, CAD drawings, and profile templates Knowledge of cutter head setup, tooling, feed speeds, and material handling Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Preferred Skills Experience in high-end architectural or custom millwork shops Familiarity with hardwoods, softwoods, and composite materials Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting experience Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan options Opportunities for growth and advancement within South Shore Millwork Salary: $45000 - $70000 per year #J-18808-Ljbffr South Shore Millwork
