Rate: $20.35 hr
Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
POSITION SUMMARY
ATCO Rubber Products Inc. a leading manufacturer of flexible HVAC duct is looking to fulfill the position of Shipping Supervisor - Crawfordsville, IN. The candidate must have exceptional supervisor and leadership skills with 2-5 years of hands-on supervisory experience. This position requires hands-on experience and will work in a fast-paced shipping environment. The candidate must present effective supervisory and leadership skills in leading a shipping team of hourly employees. This position will manage employees' productivity and oversee the shipment of products in a manufacturing environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Maintain the necessary workforce to meet shipping goals
Ensure all employees receive proper training to work safely and efficiently
Foster a culture of workplace safety

Promote and maintain a positive and challenging work environment

Ensure compliance with shipping SOP procedures

Provide effective coaching and disciplinary actions to employees
Meet shipping timelines to satisfy customer needs
Account for and receive all raw materials accurately
Meet or exceed all shipping expectations
Commit to producing products that exceed customers' expectations of quality
Employ strategies to monitor and effectively reduce shipping errors
Must present excellent planning & decision-making skills
Effectively plan, schedule, and control shipping cost
Ensure all shipping goals are met including cost

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Traffic Management Systems, ERP systems, and Inventory Control

Must be able to effectively speak and write English. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum 2 years of experience

High school degree

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY
This position manages all shipping employees and is responsible for hiring and performance management of the hourly employees.
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position working 40-45 hours per week, Monday-Friday and may include occasional Saturdays
CLASSIFICATION
Full-Time

No travel is expected for this position
WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE
Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
