Department : Admissions Salary : $16.64 - $18.72 Description : Under minimal supervision, analyzes and evaluates transcripts from colleges, universities and military course work to identify transferable course credits. Reviews and makes decisions on course credits from otherdomestic and/or international colleges and universities andmilitary course credits to be transferred to UH. Corresponds with officials at other institutions of highereducation concerning course credits and contentcomparability. Advises students and university staff and faculty about coursecredit transfers and gaps. Reviews existing evaluation guides and equivalency tables toidentify inconsistent catalog language and provides feedback toLead Transcript Analyst(s). Prepares articulation guides for Texas community colleges anduniversities. May assist in the training and supervision of Transcript Analyst1 and/or student workers. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. MQ: Education : Requires the ability and knowledge for analysis andinterpretation of procedures, policies and practices attainablethrough specific education and/or training programs in a specialtyor technical field. Advanced vocational or electronic skills or abasic knowledge of a professional field is required. An Associate'sdegree or certification/licensing in a technical specialty programof over 18 months and up to 3 years duration are characteristic ofthis field.
