Medical Billing Specialist

Job Overview We are a well-established chiropractic wellness center seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Medical Billing Specialist to join our team part-time.The ideal candidate has experience with chiropractic billing, insurance claims, payment posting, and accounts receivable management. Responsibilities Accurately assign CPT codes and ICD-10 diagnosis codes for chiropractic procedures Prepare and submit clean claims to insurance companies and third-party payers Post insurance and patient payments accurately Manage accounts receivable and collections follow-up Review and correct claim denials and rejections Stay current with updates in medical coding regulations, insurance policies, and industry best practices to ensure compliance Communicate professionally with insurance companies and patients as needed Qualifications Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience is prefered Chiropractic billing experience strongly prefered Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and insurance claim processing Experience with payment posting and A/R follow-up Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and efficiently What We Offer Some flexibility in a part-time schedule Supportive and professional work environment Competitive hourly pay based on experience Pay:$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Work Location:In person. #J-18808-Ljbffr
