Associate

The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. Acquires and maintains knowledge of products represented. Prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment, and supplies. Intercepts consumers and demonstrates products in a professional manner. Maintains an overall professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.

Responsibilities include possessing the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented, proactively intercepting, engaging, interacting, and selling product to the consumer in a positive manner, effectively communicating the features and benefits of the product, preparing and serving food samples using small appliances, maintaining a clean, sterile and safe work station, properly setting up and preparing Event Table for execution, achieving 100% execution on assigned work, assisting with preparation for client visits and completing audit corrections, building and maintaining rapport with store personnel, completing expense reports, accurately preparing and submitting all on-line requirements, accessing the internet, navigating through company's electronic systems, using Microsoft Outlook, and viewing assigned documents including Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF forms.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient in ability to use and navigate on a personal computer or personal mobile device using applications and internal systems. Local Food handlers permit may be required.

Physical demands include standing and walking of the shift, using hands and fingers to handle or feel, reaching with hands and arms, talking and hearing, having visual ability to read instructions and perform events, stooping, kneeling, squatting, climbing or stepping up ladder, balancing, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds (including occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds), pushing and pulling a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies and product, preparing foods and beverages using the required appliances, and being in contact with cleaning supplies.

Work environment is a retail store environment with limited travel. Language skills include English as the primary language skill; however, bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
