Reporting to the Global Network Services Manager, this role is responsible for leading a team of network engineers and contractors while ensuring the successful execution of network operations, infrastructure projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.This is an excellent opportunity for a technical leader who thrives in complex enterprise and manufacturing environments and is passionate about delivering secure, reliable, and high-performing network services.What You'll DoLead the delivery and operational performance of network services across the Americas region.Ensure network services are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business and project priorities.Coordinate infrastructure, application, business, and vendor teams to successfully execute network initiatives.Support stable and reliable network operations, including major incident coordination and issue resolution.Provide technical leadership across routing, switching, wireless networking, connectivity, and network security solutions.Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards, governance processes, and change management practices.Coordinate vendor execution to support service delivery and project timelinesDrive continuous improvement efforts that enhance network reliability, operational efficiency, and service quality.What We're Looking For5-10+ years of experience in network engineering, network administration, or related infrastructure disciplines.Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Communications, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Experience leading technical teams and coordinating resources across multiple locations.Strong knowledge of enterprise networking technologies, including routing, switching, Wi-Fi, VPN, IP Voice, and network authentication.Experience delivering large-scale network infrastructure projects and managing competing priorities.Proven ability to support secure, resilient network environments and address cybersecurity-related challenges.Strong communication, stakeholder management, and vendor management skills.Manufacturing, industrial, mining, or processing industry experience is highly valued.What we offer:Competitive compensation packages, including pay-for-performance variable pay, recognition and rewards programs.401(k), employer match up to 6%, additional employer retirement income contribution (no vesting period)Healthcare benefits: medical, Rx, dental, vision, flexible spending account, health savings account (generous employer contribution), life and accident insuranceWork-life balance programs: flexible work scheduling, hybrid/remote workingPaid time off: 15 vacation days prorated in the 1st year based on hire date, 12 paid holidays, 7 illness days, Care for Family leave up to 40 days, up to 5 bereavement days, maximum of 30 jury duty days, and up to 10 days annual training for military leave.#LI-PW1About the LocationAlcoa is an international company with multiple locations and joint ventures across six continents.
