Powertrain Validation Engineer

Responsibilities Execute verification and validation testing for vehicle Drive Unit integration testing. Create structured test plans and maintain comprehensive test suites, ensuring clear documentation to support engineering design decisions. Configure, operate, and troubleshoot test equipment, including engineering tools (e.g., Vector CANoe, CANalyzer), power supplies, electronic loads, dynos. Manage test infrastructure, including hardware configurations, equipment calibration, software versions, and test documentation. Investigate field issues by analyzing vehicle logs (CAN), performing root cause analysis, validating fixes, and driving issues to closure. Support integration, and supplier validation activities, requiring up to 50% travel to various field sites. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in EV drive systems, including system analysis and validation. Strong understanding of EV drive motor and inverter fundamentals, and vehicle-level validation. Experience analyzing CAN and XCP data using tools like CANalyzer, Canape, PCAN View, INCA, and terminal interfaces. Working knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, XCP) Experience working safely with high-voltage systems (up to ~500 VDC). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced development environment with strong collaboration and communication skills. BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field. #J-18808-Ljbffr
