Job Title Travel RN – Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) Location Houston, TX | Freestanding Emergency Department Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend off; expected 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a freestanding emergency department setting with a 4:1 patient ratio Perform procedures including EKG, peripheral IV placement, ventilator management, and BiPAP Operate and interpret POC lab equipment (Piccolo, EPOC, Triage Meter) Utilize Meditech Expanse EMR for accurate and timely documentation Operate unit equipment including Lifepak 15, C1 ventilator, and Lucas device Float to other FSEDs or the main ED as needed Required Qualifications Active RN license valid in the state of Texas Minimum 2 years of recent emergency room experience in a medium- to high-volume ER Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, CPR, and TNCC Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and adapt to a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience / Skills Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification Experience in a freestanding emergency department environment Familiarity with Meditech Expanse EMR Why Join Us Work in a specialized freestanding emergency department with a focused, close-knit team and manageable patient ratios Gain hands-on experience with advanced emergency equipment in a dynamic clinical setting Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 792742.
