SR. DIRECTOR OF FOOD AND NUTRITION

Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 Other Forms of Compensation: BONUS AND RELO ASSISTANCE Position Title: Sr. Director of Dining Services (SR. DFNS) Pay Grade: 16 Reports To: VPO Position Overview The Sr. Director of Dining Services is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day foodservice operations. Duties include managing a team of employees, building and maintaining client relationships, ensuring profitability of the account, and fostering talent development. Key Responsibilities Operate the department in accordance with the approved budget while providing maximum value for clients. Ensure that the food offered is of superior quality. Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs. Maintain excellent relationships with guests, clients, and other departments. Promote the professional growth and development of the entire team. Foster strong inter-departmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operations. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of additional experience. Minimum of five years of proven leadership experience. Two to four years of direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control. Strong knowledge of food and catering trends focused on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation. Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract‑managed service experience is desirable. ServSafe certification is a plus. Must be forward‑thinking, proactive, and the face of the company.
