E-commerce Operations Manager
About the Role
MILKYHEART LLC is looking for a responsible, organized, and hands-on E-commerce Operations Manager to support and manage our daily live selling operations on Whatnot and TikTok Shop .
This role will focus on preparing and coordinating live sessions, managing live hosts, ensuring equipment and products are ready before each show, reviewing live performance, verifying orders, and communicating operational issues with management.
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced live commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the live streaming area before each Whatnot and TikTok live session.
- Check cameras, phones, lighting, microphones, computers, internet connection, and other live streaming equipment to ensure everything is working properly.
- Organize and prepare the products needed for each live session before the show begins.
- Make sure the live streaming area is clean, organized, and ready for the host.
- Coordinate and manage live hosts, including schedules, preparation, and daily workflow.
- Monitor live sessions and help resolve operational or technical issues when needed.
- Review live stream performance with hosts and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide feedback and help improve host performance, presentation, and overall live room operations.
- Communicate live streaming results, operational issues, and important updates directly with management.
- Verify orders after live sessions to ensure order and product information is accurate.
- Coordinate with the fulfillment team when order issues or discrepancies are identified.
- Assist with customer service-related issues by checking order details and coordinating with the appropriate team.
- Help improve daily live streaming procedures and operational workflows.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in e-commerce, live streaming, retail operations, team coordination, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with Whatnot, TikTok Shop, live commerce, or social commerce is a strong plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to identify and solve problems quickly.
- Comfortable managing and giving feedback to live hosts.
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn e-commerce and live streaming platforms.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Able to work independently and communicate effectively with management.
