After Hours Dental Care is looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to be the first face our patients see and the first voice they hear on the phone. If you genuinely love talking to people, stay calm and unbothered when things get hectic, and thrive on keeping a busy schedule organized, we want to meet you.
We're not your typical dental office — we're open evenings and weekends because our patients shouldn't have to miss work or lose a day's pay just to see a dentist. That means our front desk role is dynamic, fast-paced, and genuinely rewarding for someone who likes variety in their day.
What you'll do:
- Answer phones and greet every patient warmly, in person and on the phone
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Collect payments and handle basic billing, treatment plan conversations with patients
- Keep the front office organized and the schedule running smoothly
- Represent the practice's culture and values as the first impression for every patient
What we're looking for:
- Someone who loves people and isn't easily rattled or offended
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to stay focused amid interruptions
- Comfortable multitasking — phones, scheduling, and payments, often at the same time
- Reliable and punctual; a team player
- Dental front desk experience is a plus, but not required — we'll train the right person
- Must be available to work some evening and/or Saturday shifts
Hours (30 with potential to grow to 40)
- Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8am to 5pm
- Flexible with evening and/or Sat shift
