RN - CVOR - Local Contract

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. This role is ideal for an OR nurse who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and is committed to delivering safe, high-quality perioperative care.


Compensation : $70 - $80.65

Job Function :

• Document all patient care accurately, completely, and promptly in the facility EMR
• Prepare the operat ing room for procedures and assist with room turnover
• Assist with patient positioning and ensure comfort and safety throughout the procedure
• Handle and label specimens according to policy
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection-control standards
• Identify and initiate corrective actions when necessary
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure efficient workflow

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years CVOR RN experience
• Active NJ or Compact RN license (required at submission)
• AHA BLS
• CNOR preferred
• Scrub Cardiovascular Surgery (required for open-heart cases)
• Circulate CVOR cases (highly preferred)
• TAVR experience (highly preferred)
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• BSN preferred
