About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years in an interventional cardiac cath lab License: RN Certifications: RCIS, RT Must-Have: Candidates must have experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab. Description: The cardiac cath lab consists of 3 labs staffed by 10-11 personnel on day shifts. The team includes a mix of RNs and cardiovascular technologists. Patient ratios are 3 staff members per room. The lab is equipped with GE X-ray/MacLab and utilizes the Meditech EMR system. Typical procedures performed include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, Impella procedures, balloon pump insertions, peripheral cases, and complex PCIs. Occasional device placements are also performed. Candidates should possess a friendly and easy-going personality. The ability to work in a fast-paced and busy environment is essential. Professional conduct and punctuality are vital. Staff must be able to report to the facility within 30 minutes of being on call. Some weekends and weekdays may require being on call.
