An established infusion pharmacy is seeking an experienced IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technician to join their team in Duluth, GA. This direct hire position offers a rewarding opportunity to specialize in sterile compounding and play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Saturdays as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile compounding of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, adhering strictly to USP 797 standards.
• Maintain quality assurance by ensuring all compounding activities meet departmental and legal requirements.
• Complete sterile compounding practical certification every six months to stay compliant with USP 797.
• Clean and maintain sterile compounding rooms and primary engineering controls daily according to established guidelines.
• Assist in training new pharmacy technician staff members.
• Participate in clinical initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care.
• Execute other sterile compounding and pharmacy technician duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia Pharmacy Technician license required.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in sterile IV and infusion compounding.
• Familiarity with CareTend pharmacy management system is a plus.
