Opportunity Overview The Teradyne Factory Applications group is looking for a highly motivated, energetic, and self-driven engineer to join our Digital and Software products team. You will work on projects collaboratively with cross-functional teams across the company, as well as develop imaginative, thorough, and practical application solutions. In this position, we are looking for someone who can leverage their experience into a multifaceted technical role - being an expert in our products for outbound activities, and representing the broad user base for inbound new product development.Leading member of product development teams with engineering, representing the broad user base –defining use cases and requirements, and performing post-implementation validation. Responsibility is to ensure we are implementing the right things to meet market expectations with competitive solutionsParticipate in key design-ins acting as a consultant, ensuring technical successProvide guidance to our field applications and direct customers in development of successful test solutionsDevelop and deliver technical marketing presentations with clear and effective messagingCo-develop user documentation and training for new products and featuresContinually develop deep expert knowledge of our products and use modelsContinually develop knowledge of semiconductor test requirements and trendsDevelop strong relationships with worldwide account teams and key customers.Develop knowledge and expertise on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) - specifically the UltraFLEX family of Teradyne testers - with a focus on our Digital, Serial, DC, and Software product areas. Work with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) to design and develop software plugins and applications.Support customers on tester operation and capability.All About You We seek individuals who share our passion and determination. Bachelor or higher degree in EE, or CE.5+ years of experience in the semiconductor field.Proficient with C# and .NET, C++ development and unit testing Experience with development tools: Visual Studio, Git, JIRAStrong knowledge of data structures and algorithms and operating systems (Windows, Linux)Solid object-oriented design skills and experience designing reusable libraries/APIs.  Solid comprehension of electrical engineering fundamentals Ability to work effectively both within a team and on your own – planning, execution, tracking, and reporting.Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills – a commitment to teamwork and “can-do” spirit.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to develop and deliver clear and effective presentations on complex topics.Can work under high pressure with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.Basic knowledge about semiconductor device design, manufacturing, and/or testing is a plus.This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $126,800 to 202,800. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location. Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
