We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department (ED) for a 13-week contract in Newport, Oregon. The RN will provide emergency nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of needs, from non-critical conditions to emergent medical, cardiac, trauma, pediatric, and urgent mental health concerns.

Candidates should be comfortable caring for diverse Emergency Department populations and responding effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• Assess, prioritize, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients presenting with emergency and urgent healthcare needs.

• Provide nursing care for patients with medical, cardiac, trauma, pediatric, and behavioral health emergencies.

• Recognize changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate emergency interventions according to established clinical protocols.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate timely and appropriate Emergency Department care.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation while supporting patient safety, communication, and efficient Emergency Department workflow.

• Minimum 1 Year of Emergency Department Registered Nurse Experience Required.

• Current, Unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse License Required at Time of Submission.

• Current Healthcare Provider Level BLS/BCLS Certification Required.

• Current ACLS, PALS, and TNCC Certifications Required.

• CEN Certification Preferred; Ability to Work Varied Shifts, Every Other Weekend, and Required Holiday Coverage Required.
