Geotechnical Project Manager

Join to apply for the Geotechnical Project Manager role at ECS Group of Companies This role primarily involves preparation of geotechnical reports, including analysis and recommendations, with a strong commitment to meet project deadlines. You will manage construction materials testing (CMT) projects, review daily reports, assist with issue resolution, and train field staff. You will prepare both geotechnical and CMT proposals, manage project budgets, prepare change orders and invoices, and host or attend project meetings with clients to follow up on delivered reports and provide technical solutions as necessary. Other duties may include: Preparing drilling packages and obtaining utility clearances Performing research on local geologic history Supervising field work performed by drilling/test pit crews and assisting with rig access issues Classifying soil and assigning laboratory testing Mentoring and supporting Staff Project Managers, Assistant Staff Project Managers, and technicians in their development Qualifications Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or a related field 3 years of related experience Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) preferred Professional license required in each state(s) in which you work to use the license in the title. If a professional license has not yet been obtained, “Manager” will be used in the title. Valid driver’s license is required if driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary.
