Job Summary Clinical Instructor – Radiology: Abdominal – Body Imaging FY27-28. One year non-ACGME fellowship position, junior faculty, beginning July 1, 2027. Clinical work and training will be performed at MUSC Hospital affiliated sites. The role includes working closely with referring physicians to ensure appropriate imaging studies are performed, active participation in resident and medical student teaching, and encouragement of research interests. Encourage and engage in research activities. Qualifications Completion of a 4‑year radiology residency program. Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Radiology. Must be able to obtain a permanent (unrestricted) South Carolina medical license prior to the start of the fellowship. The role is for one year as Clinical Instructor beginning July 1, 2027. (Frequent) Ability to lower objects, up to 75 lbs., from height of 36 inches to floor level, unassisted. (Frequent) Ability to lift and carry patients weighing up to 300 lbs., assisted. (Frequent) Ability to push/pull objects, up to 200 lbs., unassisted. (Frequent) Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected. (Continuous) Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand. (Continuous) Ability to see and recognize objects at a distance. (Continuous) Ability to match or discriminate between colors. (Continuous) Ability to determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception. (Continuous) Good peripheral vision capabilities. (Continuous) Ability to maintain hearing acuity, with correction. (Continuous) Ability to hear and understand whispered conversations at a distance of 3 feet. Must be able to maintain bi-lateral hand movement skills. (Continuous) Ability to perform gross motor functions with frequent fine motor movements. (Continuous) Ability to be qualified physically (by medical personnel) for respirator use, initially and annually. Ability to maintain a valid drivers license. Computer literacy. Ability to work rotating shifts. Ability to work overtime as required. Ability to learn and use new processes, tools and equipment as required.
