Environmental System Support Specialist As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don’t. You understand the nuances of complex situations and use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We’re looking for an expert like you to create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe. You’ll bring your environmental compliance expertise to work on projects for the Air Force, collaborate with stakeholders, and lead adoption‑focused efforts to enhance system capabilities and increase effective use across the enterprise. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, identifying, analyzing, and evaluating complex systems, policies, and processes, and guiding the work we do for environmental compliance and the solutions we deliver for DoW stakeholders. Responsibilities • Collaborate with stakeholders to advance environment‑compliance initiatives.• Lead adoption‑focused efforts to enhance system capabilities and improve enterprise use.• Identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies and processes.• Guide work for environmental compliance and deliver solutions for DoW stakeholders. Qualifications 5+ years of experience working in a role that supports environmental compliance or environmental protection. Experience developing strategic communications. Experience working directly with government stakeholders at multiple organizational levels. Ability to tailor process, training, or system guidance information to non‑technical stakeholder audiences. Knowledge of EPA regulations. Ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Bachelor’s degree. Nice to Have Experience communicating compliance requirements. Experience working with Jira or Confluence. Ability to create engaging user‑focused communications and resources. Secret clearance. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Earth Science, Engineering, or Chemistry. Security Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The range reflects various factors including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience.
