Junior Data Analyst

Marathon TS is looking for a Junior Data Analyst to support our efforts at Fort McCoy. Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform remote data collection, cleaning, transformation, and analysis.
• Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to datasets.
• Develop visualizations and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Deliver actionable recommendations to stakeholders at technical and non-technical levels.
• Coordinate with on-site Fort McCoy DABAL team and COR/DGR.
• Stay updated on emerging data analysis technologies.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant data analysis experience.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts, data analysis methodologies, and business operations.
• Experience with Python, R, SQL, and advanced Excel.
• Experience with data modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning techniques.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization platforms.
• Working knowledge of hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and time series analysis.
• Ability to collect, clean, transform, and manipulate large datasets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a self-starting, remote environment.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.

Certifications/Training

• DoD Cyber Awareness Training (required prior to network access and annually thereafter; IAW DoDD 8140.01/DoDM 8140.03/AR 25-2)
• AT Level I Awareness Training (within 30 calendar days of performance start)
• iWATCH Army Training (within 30 calendar days of performance start)
• ATCTS (Army Training Certification Tracking System) registration required

Other Requirements:

• Travel requirements vary (5–20%) annually
