Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and customer-focused individual to join our team as an RV Walk-Through Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that customers receive comprehensive and informative orientations on their new recreational vehicles (RVs). Your attention to detail and ability to effectively communicate complex information will be crucial in providing an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Thorough Walk-Throughs: Perform detailed orientations for customers on the operation, maintenance, and safety features of their RVs.
• Demonstrate RV Functions: Professionally demonstrate the functionality of various systems within the RV, including electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling, entertainment, and safety features.
• Answer Customer Inquiries: Address customer questions and concerns regarding RV operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, providing clear and accurate information.
• Prepare campers for Walk-Through:
• Provide Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the specifications, features, and capabilities of different RV models to effectively educate customers.
• Document Orientation Sessions: Maintain accurate records of walk-through sessions, documenting any issues, concerns, or special instructions provided to customers.
• Assist with Customer Service: Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve any post-delivery issues or concerns raised by customers regarding their RVs.
• Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional service and support throughout the RV orientation process.
• Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with customers to understand their concerns, explain repair procedures, and provide estimates for services. Communicate effectively to ensure customer satisfaction and address any questions or concerns they may have regarding their RVs.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other technicians, service advisors, and parts personnel to streamline workflow, share knowledge, and coordinate efforts to deliver efficient and timely service to customers.
• Work Environment: Uphold a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Pre-Delivery Inspection: Conduct comprehensive inspections of RVs to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• System Testing: Ensuring that all RV systems operate efficiently and safely. This process involves thorough examination and testing of various systems within the RV.
• Efficient Vehicle Movement and Placement: Safely navigate and position various RV units—including travel trailers, fifth wheels, truck campers, and motorhomes—across the lot, into service bays, and to customer staging areas. This role requires exceptional maneuvering skills and a keen awareness of vehicle dimensions and turning radii to ensure safe transport.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the RV industry or a similar field preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge of RV systems and components.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all work performed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects (up to 30 pounds) and work in various positions, including kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Comfort working outdoors and in different weather conditions, as well as in confined spaces within RVs.
