Job Summary:As a Physician in an affiliated medical practice, provides medical services to patients in an assigned area.Job Description:Oakland Family Medicine, part of the Primary Care Department at MaineGeneral Medical Center, is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our well established, high volume outpatient practice conveniently located off I-95 in Oakland, Maine. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice full spectrum family medicine in a collaborative, patient centered environment.Our incredible team provides comprehensive care across the lifespan, including pediatrics, adult medicine, gynecology, and geriatrics. Physicians may also incorporate a variety of procedural interests — such as osteopathic manipulation, sports medicine, minor surgery, and acupuncture — though these are optional. The ability to provide medication assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder is available for those interested.You will join a supportive, multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, advanced practice practitioners, an on site PMHNP, care management, and counseling services.
