Staff or Senior Accountant

About the job Staff or Senior Accountant Key Responsibilities Manage daily accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger oversight for active tours and events. Support monthly/quarterly close processes, ensuring timely and accurate revenue recognition and expense reporting. Track and analyze tour budgets vs. actuals; provide variance reporting and insights to management and artist reps. Coordinate with tour managers and finance leadership to align on financial processes. Monitor accounts payable/receivable and support cash flow tracking for individual tours. Assist with audit preparation, tax support, and ongoing internal controls. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 24 years of general ledger accounting experience for Staff; 46+ years for Senior. Background in live events, music, entertainment, or media accounting a plus Comfortable working with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks); Excel proficiency required. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven. Passion for the music industry and touring culture is welcomed. Required Citizenship / Work Permit / Visa Status Ability to work in the US with no need for sponsorship now or in the future. Must-Haves Bachelors degree at a minimum General ledger accounting Journal entries Reconciliations Month end close Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles (Westwood), CA Monday-Thursday with Friday remote. #J-18808-Ljbffr 5 Star Recruitment
