Primary Care Associates seeks a highly skilled, dedicated, and professional Health Services Coordinator to join our rapidly growing and dynamic team. Schedule : Monday through Friday, 08:00am-04:00pm Learn more about Primary Care Associates at Considers skillful, customer/patient service a top priority Takes ownership for personal growth and development Works as a team for the good of the team and its commitment to service Embraces excellence, honesty, compassion and respect Input payment information or other financial data into customer accounts in EHR Generate invoices and billing materials to be sent directly to customers Work with the OrthoAlaska billing department to identify and correct billing errors Maintain workflow and organization Utilize accounting software to identify outstanding accounts, inform accounts of any missed/late payments and coordinate payment Knowledge and skill requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional, personable and caring, and able to help patients feel at ease Able to understand medical charts and diagnoses and coding for billing purposes Able to maintain a calm demeanor when under pressure Able to prioritize multiple tasks and work with a variety of patient care teams Skill in operating a personal computer using a variety of software applications and EHR Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Preferred (in addition to required) qualifications Bachelors degree in billing, business, or related field OR Two (2) years of experience in occupational health or customer service PCA values quality, patient-centered care, personal fulfillment through continuous improvement, team development, and community service.
