Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist opening for a full-time opportunity in Fort Worth, TX. Expand your career by working closely with a successful group of hospitalists evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of patients.

Position details include:

• Assist hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&P's, and follow-up visits.
• Initiate appropriate treatment and testing for medical illnesses.
• Complete history and physical examinations on all new admissions.
• Round on rehabilitation patients including long term acute care patients.
• Document using EMR system.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement processes.

If you enjoy working swing shift 12pm-12am, possess active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgement, and decision making, and are a Texas licensed certified Physician Assistant with ACLS certification and 2 years of PA experience, this opportunity is for you.

The Physician Assistant will be licensed as a physician assistant in the State of Texas and maintain such license in good standing at all times. A Master's degree in Physician Assistant is required. The PA will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.
