D & B Builders, Inc. is a small commercial construction company located in Molino, FL and founded in 1985. While many companies are beginning to experience the benefits of design and build few can offer the responsibility of taking our clients from concept, to design, through construction, and finally to completion, which we boast of. We are excited and full of anticipation to see our employees prosper to their full potential. We are currently seeking a Construction Estimator to join our team.

Primary Job Duties include:

• Prepare estimates of costs of materials, labor, equipment and subcontracts for construction projects based on contract bids, quotations, schematic drawings, and specifications
• Prepare cost and expenditure statements and forecasts at regular intervals for the duration of a project 
• Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors 
• Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors, and prepare change orders and adjustments to cost estimates 
• Manage and co-ordinate construction projects, and prepare construction progress schedules

Minimum Qualifications:

• Construction estimating experience preferred
• Valid Drivers License
• Computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Effective communication skills
• A complete understanding of the construction process
