Ultrasound Technologist - Pediatrics

Location: Charleston, SC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift, 4x10 hour schedule from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, with potential for flexibility to work additional days as needed.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist with a focus on pediatrics to join our team. This position requires a dedicated professional with the ability to perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, particularly those related to pediatric care, in a teaching hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound examinations on pediatric patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Effectively communicate with patients and their families regarding procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to hospital protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric ultrasound.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARDMS or ARRT certification is required.
• Experience in pediatric hospital care, particularly with NEC, TCD, and various ultrasound techniques (e.g., liver Doppler, renal Doppler, and more).
• No state ultrasound licensure is required.
