Job Description As a Security Officer Dispatch Operator in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting a financial institution, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor alarm activity and camera systems, document incidents, and dispatch personnel as needed. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor incoming communications, alarms, and access-control notifications, dispatching appropriate personnel and documenting activities according to site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating communications with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and records of calls, alarms, and other security-related activity. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, to help identify unusual conditions and report concerns. Minimum Requirements Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree. CPR certification is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A Guard Card/License is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
