Job Summary

Ascendance is looking for a full-time, customer-oriented Truck Salesperson. A Truck Salesperson builds, maintains, and grows relationships with current and new clients through exceptional customer service. The successful team member has previous sales experience in the transportation industry or a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify and engage prospective truck-fleets, and provide help or direction to any customer that can benefit from our services
• Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects
• Describe all optional equipment, bodies and rigging available for customer purchase
• Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of medium-duty, heavy-duty, and severe service trucks
• Overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards
• Evaluating customer needs over emotional selling
• Assist customers in spec'ing by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses
• Build strong rapport and life-long relationships with customers
• Report objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses to the Sales Director
• Actively use a Customer Management System (CRM)

Basic Qualifications:

• Proven ability to meet sales quotas
• Self-motivated with a high level of integrity
• Professional demeanor while negotiating pricing
• Ability to earn majority of compensation through commissions, once established
• Outgoing with a friendly personality, especially while handling objections & negotiating pricing
• Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday

Compensation:

• Salary: Based on Experience
• Reimbursements: Cell Phone, Mileage, etc.
• Commission/Bonus
