Senior Manager Sales Use Tax

Responsibilities

Kforce is partnering with a client in the Saint Louis, MO area to identify a Senior Tax Manager to join their team. This is a fully onsite opportunity with a well-established company known for its strong culture and collaborative environment.Responsibilities:

• Lead sales and use tax operations, compliance activities, and cross-functional coordination with internal leadership and business teams
• Manage, mentor, and support tax department staff while overseeing external service providers and audit-related activities
• Research and analyze tax law changes, assess business impact, and implement process or procedural updates as needed
• Support domestic and international tax planning initiatives, tax return processes, and interactions with taxing authorities
• Perform analytical reviews, risk assessments, and data analysis related to tax compliance, reporting, and audit support

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Advanced degree preferred
• CPA certification required with 10+ years of progressive tax experience preferred
• Strong background in sales and use tax compliance, regulations, and audit support
• Experience with indirect tax and tax research software, including Vertex, preferred
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and strong overall compliance knowledge preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
