Provides professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process, with special attention to the special needs and behaviors of the total population. Manages the provision of patient care through integrating the functions of the Health Care Teams. Assumes responsibility for clinical leadership on the unit as assigned by the Clinical Nurse Manager. **Qualifications*** Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Required* Demonstrates basic knowledge of nursing theory and practice.* Knowledge of appropriate technology and practice standards for area of responsibility.* Demonstrates sound clinical skills, understanding of the acute care process, standards of practice and positive communication skills.* Ability to read, write and communicate in English* Registered Nurse New York - New York State Board of Nursing Required* BLS - American Heart Association RequiredMontefiore St. Luke's Cornwall is an equal employment opportunity employer.
