The PositionWork with business stakeholders and/or project team and vendors to ensure process control systems for existing and/or new equipment and processes are in alignment with local and global standards. Work with equipment vendors to spec equipment IFA's and requirements ensuring the equipment is ability to connect to and be used in local manufacturing meeting all requirements through people & equipment focus, as well as serving as gatekeeper for standards.RelationshipsReports to Manager, Senior Manager.Essential FunctionsSupport plans to maintain & improve process control systemsSchedule & execute plans in coordination with manufacturing schedulesOperate as automation resource on projects that involve process control systemsOwn self-development & initiative to understand the site process control systemsAdhere to the automation standards & implement the necessary changes to the automation-related specifications & maintenance plansSupport audits & inspections for process control systemsUtilize the appropriate cLEAN tools within the main areas of Systematic Problem Solving, process improvement, & project managementOperate within compliance with a Quality Mindset that focuses on risk management & mitigationImplement effective change managementSupport Corporate, PS, local IT, & local stakeholder initiatives & projectsParticipate in the development of new SOPs, best practices, and maintenance proceduresFollow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of dutiesOther accountabilities, as assignedPhysical RequirementsAbility to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction.
