HVAC Technician

$5,000 Sign-on Bonus Position

To maintain and repair all heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration equipment throughout the facility.

Primary Position Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain environmental systems throughout the hospital.
• Repair and maintain all refrigerators and freezers throughout the facility.
• Monitor building automation system and respond to requests for changes and alarms.
• Repair all chilled water, hot water, and steam lines servicing all environmental equipment.
• Make repairs based on work orders generated from dispatch according to priority.
• Advise Supervisor of parts/stock needed in order to make necessary repairs.

Qualifications

Minimum Education: Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required: 5 years of Commercial HVAC experience

License, Registry or Certification: Required: Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certificate

Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and a minimum of three (3) years driving experience.

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Required: Air distribution systems, preheat # reheat systems, control systems, strong mechanical background. Preferred: Steam systems
