Job Summary As an In-House Sales Representative, you will engage directly with current owners to enhance and expand their ownership experience with Travel + Leisure. This is a consultative, high-performance sales role focused on helping owners maximize the value of their existing ownership through strategic upgrades and additional travel opportunities. Successful candidates are confident closers who excel at building relationships, analyzing ownership portfolios, discussing financial benefits, and presenting customized solutions that align with the owner’s travel goals. This role operates in a fast-paced sales environment where strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills are critical to success. Weekend availability is required. Essential Job Responsibilities Conduct face-to-face presentations in our state-of-the-art sales centers located at one of our award-winning resorts. Find commonality with prospective and/or current owners. Communicate the benefits of traveling with Wyndham Destinations. Generate sales through initializing transactions and utilizing proper closing techniques. Leads are prequalified and provided by the company. Attend ongoing, advanced sales and career training. Effectively present and deliver sales presentation in accordance with all company policies, compliance standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining minimum performance goals (80% time). Attend all scheduled training sessions, department meetings, keep current on sales information and materials, keep current on industry trends, and set and review performance goals weekly, monthly and annually (20%). Weekend and holiday availability is required. Travel Requirements No travel required outside of the home site’s area. Minimum Requirements and Qualifications Minimum 2 years of proven success in commission-based sales, consultative sales, or a customer-facing sales environment. Experience presenting solutions, overcoming objections, and closing sales transactions. Ability to analyze financial information and confidently discuss pricing, financing options, return on investment, and ownership value. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment with established sales goals and metrics. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Education High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Training Requirements Initial Paid Training, covering our sales process, product knowledge, and the psychology of the sale. Knowledge and Skills Needs to be able to overcome objections and perform within a short, luxury sales cycle. Must be energetic, outgoing and tenacious. Technical Skills General smart device skills. Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
