About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Program Management to lead its PM function and serve as the senior program leader for a specific product through its late-stage development, BLA preparation and submission, regulatory review, approval, and launch readiness activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving cross-functional execution across various departments, including clinical, regulatory, CMC, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, finance, and commercial operations. This role demands a professional with a strong background in biologics development, sound business judgment, and the ability to translate complex scientific, regulatory, and operational issues into clear priorities and executable plans. Key responsibilities for the VP of Program Management include leading and developing the PM function, establishing effective program governance, and ensuring the integrated development and commercialization plan is maintained. The role also involves coordinating activities with internal and external partners, identifying program risks, and developing mitigation plans. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in a relevant field, over 15 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, and a proven track record of managing development programs for new molecular entities or biologics. Experience with BLA/NDA submissions, a strong understanding of biologics development, and the ability to lead both internal teams and external partners are essential. The VP will also be expected to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and disciplined execution within the program management organization.
