Business Systems Analyst (IT): III (Senior)

Job Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an experienced Business Systems Analyst (IT): III (Senior) located in Columbus, Ohio. This role is primarily focused on working with business units to align technology solutions with business strategies. The individual will provide advanced technical and consultative support to other team members and maintain an in-depth knowledge of applications, methodologies, and trends related to the assigned applications. Responsibilities Foster relationships with business partners who utilize ServiceNow, with the goal of understanding their needs, advocating on their behalf, maintaining platform designed standards and governance, and facilitating effective communication between business and technical users. Develop a comprehensive understanding of complex business processes and functional behaviors of assigned applications, including potential design and integration of technical solutions, considering upstream and downstream dependencies and impacts. Collaborate with key stakeholders to capture business and user requirements and to establish and strengthen relationships between teams. Manage relationships with stakeholders to identify model and document business processes and data requirements. Work closely with Scrum and Production Support teams to ensure all documented requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered to specification. Facilitate scope discovery and design sessions, and communicate with business partners on story status and follow-up. Align IT resources and processes to meet the client organization’s needs and design enterprise solutions. Create roadmaps with business partners and execute stories within sprint timelines. Stay current with technical enhancements methodologies and trends related to the assigned applications. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Demonstrated ability in documentation and procedures. Experience with supervising and workstation support. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge and experience with Agile Scrum methodology. Ability to work effectively with stakeholders and partners. Proven ability to execute tasks according to specifications. Strong understanding of business process functions and UX. Experience with discovery processes within a business unit. Proven ability to contribute to business unit enhancements. Proficiency in managing timelines and delivering on project deliverables.
