CATERING ATTENDANT (ON CALL)

Job Summary We are hiring immediately for on‑call Catering Attendant positions at 1605 Catlin Avenue, Superior, WI 54880. Location: University of Wisconsin‑Superior. Schedule is on‑call and may vary with catering events. Pay is $16.48 per hour. Experience in food service and customer service is preferred but not required. Training is available, and each shift includes a free meal. This role may involve driving a catering delivery truck. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations. Log and maintain food temperatures. Arrange tables, decorations, and buffet stations according to standards. Serve food and beverages to guests. Thoroughly clean location after events. Return food, beverages, serving equipment and utensils to the catering facility. Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions. Stock, clean and maintain the catering facility and equipment. Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times. Maintain in‑depth knowledge of the menu and products on hand. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures at all times. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid driver’s license may be required; must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol server’s permit where required by state law.
