Assistant Controller

Unity Search has partnered with a solid private equity firm searching for an Assistant Controller. This role can mostly be remote with meetings from time to time in Dallas. Rapidly growing PE firm Diverse company with two main business lines: Investment and Advisory Extreme visibility within company – work very closely with the Controller and CFO CFO has a GREAT reputation – very friendly and easy to work with/for Company is doing exceptionally well and scaling Chance to build AI skills and integrate those capabilities into the firm long term Primary Responsibilities Fund & Management Company Accounting: Investor Operations & Fund Administration: Valuations & Performance Analytics: Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Analysis Tax, Audit & Compliance Process Improvement, Controls & Technology What our client is looking for Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required CPA or Chartered Accountant strongly preferred Preferably 4-8 years of progressive accounting experience with exposure to fund accounting within private equity, asset management, fund of funds, family office, or similar alternatives Strong technical accounting skills in accordance with U.S. GAAP Demonstrated use of AI tools in a professional finance or accounting context and a genuine curiosity about how emerging technology can be applied to fund accounting, reporting, and financial analysis Highly detailed, growth-oriented, and strong written and verbal communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
