Senior Systems Engineer

Job Overview Senior Systems Engineer role involves managing critical developer platforms, GitLab and Artifactory, across diverse environments. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, executing maintenance, and driving operational excellence through automation and infrastructure modernization. The position requires independent problem‑solving for complex infrastructure challenges. Contract Details Contract Type: W2 Duration: 12 months with possible extension Location: Kirkland, WA (Onsite) Pay Range: $60 to $67 per hour Primary Skills GitLab (advanced) Artifactory (advanced) Kubernetes (intermediate) PostgreSQL HA (advanced) Linux Administration (advanced) Responsibilities Maintain GitLab and Artifactory platforms for high availability. Perform upgrades, patching, and modernization with minimal disruption. Manage advanced configurations such as Geo replication and HA clusters. Build and maintain observability dashboards and establish SLAs. Implement GitOps principles and support Kubernetes migrations. Prove experience operating enterprise‑scale developer platforms, deep understanding of GitLab and JFrog Artifactory administration, and strong Linux and Kubernetes management skills. Experience working in regulated market environments is preferred. Qualifications Proven experience operating enterprise‑scale developer platforms.
