PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate with Manufacturing Supervisors and Maintenance personnel to provide maintenance support as required to allow the manufacturing process to proceed with minimal down time due to mechanical problems. Troubleshoot equipment – Electrical disconnects, subpanels, and main switchgear to aid in the troubleshooting process. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment. Calibrate various equipment. Utilize safe work habits. Wear appropriate PPE – Safety harness, LOTO equipment and any other safety equipment required by NOV, FGS, and OSHA. Perform advanced carpentry projects including coordinating the build out of special projects as requested. Assist and ensure all areas are returned to a clean, neat, orderly, and safe condition according to policy and procedure. Interpret internal needs through strong communication and listening skills. Work independently and manage multiple projects and assignments. Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Familiar with all components capable of producing and storing energy so that the interaction of these components as it pertains to the production equipment and safety can be maintained and operated in a safe and productive manner. Maintain a high level of quality and safety awareness. Work with computer and PLC hardware and software, inverter drivers, photo‑eyes, proximity switches, counters, level sensors, controllers and any other equipment requiring a computer or controls interface. Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Ability to pass a drug screen & background check. Ability to work overtime and shift work as required. Good vision required for safe operation of forklift. Preferred ability to read, write and speak English. Electrical license, electrical controls experience and/or certification preferred. Ability to read labels on pipe along with specs on paper. Ability to read pressure gauges. Welding Knowledge required. Must possess basic knowledge of electrical controls. Must possess knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics. Ability to operate Forklifts, scissor or bucket lifts. Ability to operate multimeter, amprobe, and hand tools. Assist with OJT (On Job Training) employees as needed. Factory environment with large range in temperature changes. Standing, walking, bending/strooping, push/pull, and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily. Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly.
